Letters concerning William B. Towles as a professor of anatomy on the University of Virginia faculty, [manuscript], 1886.

In a letter 1886 June 23 Towles submits his application for the professorship of anatomy. Letters, 1886, recommending Towles were written by Pembroke Petit, William Rawson Chunn, George B. Johnston who forwards a letter on behalf of the doctors of Richmond, and James Lawrence Cabell with addition by J. W. Mallet. There is also a letter from A.P. Grinnell to Towles concerning his valuable work.
